RaceCeiver useful?

Who’s using one of these? Was it worth the $$?

Scott, Unless you are just looking for a simple receiver/scanner I am not sure why you would pay this much for a scanner that can only listen to race radios.

For the same price you can get one that will listen to all kinds of things. (aircraft, police, the news and support crew at the track)

Scott in your case maybe you should just get the Raceceiver, your too curious and would never get away from the scanner.

But how useful is it? Do you get good info on yellows? Maybe it’s a way to tell you that they just threw green even tho you are in the back and can’t quite see the tower? Anything else these (RaceCeivers or the Peakracer’s scanner idea) do for you?

Naah, that’s been done. Although I was thinking about getting a photo of the car behind the tower at every track. Speaking of Roebling, I talked to Kaye a bit today. Fred Switzer and I spent the day there. I’d love to see Roebling back on the schedule and it may yet happen. Very nice.

I know there’s some gripes about this issue, but lets not wash our dirty laundry in public eh? I like to bitch as much as any other American, but if my bitching results in someone else getting screwed, then I’ve crossed a line.
