Actually, the car that is for sale is the car we first started racing with, it’s a great car but as we were ramping up in Spece30 in 09, I purchased a brand new car (the one that I raced Cobetto with), unfortunately, totaled that one in June & built a new car for this years Nationals.
No need to have 2 cars & operate a rental program…My trailer only carries 1 car & it’s a pain having to rely on someone else to get the rental car to the track since I live in Central Ca. 5 hrs from Norcal.
Okay, you’re still with the Nor Cal guys and can/are growing the sport. Like you, I’ve built 3 cars, two still active and one for sale.The third car has been great on those weekends where something has broken at the home track and I could go home and grab the other car. But, like you, time is limited and three are a lot to maintain.

Best part of racing with the spece30 guys is the group…Great bunch of guys & 2010 was very competitive…I think 2011 will bring out at least 6-10 guys that can win on any given Sunday…Saturday too.
It’s going to be an awesome season…Can’t wait

Feb is just around the corner…It’ll be my birthday weekend so drinks are on me if you let me win the opening round.

Donny is buying…? Heck, I’ll go anywhere for a free drink. If I leave now I might get there in six weeks.
You know, towing a car accross the country for a club event sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? If you think about SCCA national guys though, they do it frequently. I wish I had that kind of time and money.
