I live in Bucks County, PA (about 1 hour north of Philadelphia) and would like to find a schedule of SpecE30 races in my region (or nearby). I visited the NASA NE region website and it doesn’t seem to list SpecE30 races.
I’ve done a track event and some autocrossing in my MINI Cooper S over the last couple of years and would like to move up and get a competition license and start racing an E30 in this spec class. Before I do, I would like to visit a couple of races this season and talk to people. Can anyone help?

Hello,
Where in Bucks do you live…I grew up in Chalfont. Went to West… anyway the NASA Mid Atlantic region is where the Spec E30 action is followed by the SE region. The closest track where there will be large groups of Spec E30’s is Summit Point WV, it is about 4 hours or so for you depending on where exactly you live. We will be running 4 events there this year and generally every year.
Hi, I grew up in Dublin and went to Pennridge. I now live in Bedminster. Thanks for the info on Summit Point. I’ll make sure to get down there this year. Are there any plans to run events in the NE in the coming years?
Bob

Bob[/quote]Anything up that way(pocono, etc) is in the NASA NE region. http://www.nasanortheast.org/
Lets get NE rolling too!
I’m most of the way through the build on a 90 2 Dr and hope to run in the NE region this season. NASA NE got handed off to the Performance Drivers Assoc. (http://pdadrivingschool.com/), they’ve been running events up here for years.
I contacted Joe Casella (973 253 3900 or 973 568 6643) to see if my DE experience was sufficient to go to Comp School. If I finish the car, I’ll be at the School at Pocono on April 17.
Full schedule at http://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_event/list_events
Go to NE and check the dates that show racing and waaaay down in there will be Spec E30. Pocono, Watkins Glen and Lime Rock are all easy drives, BeaveRun is over by Pittsburgh.
Chris Cobetto, the national NASA E30 guy is at 804 883 7669 and can be of help too. Or email me. As a newbie, I’m clueless.
Thanks. Found it listed way down at the bottom like you said. I’ll be at the June 2/3 Pocono race to check things out.

Chris is the MA Regional Director and Spec E30 Racer, Carter Hunt is the Series Director.
