Race List for Roebling Road

#41

I have never been to RR…what is that triangle shaped part of the track just below the drawn in black line in the pic?

#42

I believe it is a kink/chicane, but we don’t use it. I don’t know who does.

#43

We don’t?

yep, its a chicane/"bus stop" used mainly by bikes i believe…i’ve used it once in a car, it sucked…

The black line? If you spin at the start/finish area you can rejoin the race by following the black line to turn four.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Craig, just because you wear cowboy boots, doesn’t mean you can ride the horse. Also, a kid who can’t skate says he has lousy skates.
Got boots and a skate key?

Yes, now that I have a through understanding of the rules, it will be extremely difficult to keep the car from spinning at the start finish line.

You’ll need a jump to clear the fence. B)

Steve, if you cut T1-2 on Saturday, I’ll use that line on Sunday. Deal?

#49

That would make it legal, the precident has been established.

And, Mr. Red Baron, I’ll be rooting around in my discard pile for the rattiest, rustiest, brake disc I can find. Make a trophy out of it. Gonna have it inscribed "6th Place". It just could be yours!

#52

While you have that Dremel tool out, just go ahead and scribe my name onto it…

[I was thinking of doing the same thing actually… Maybe a busted set of brake pads and whatnot]

Leaving today. Heading to the Seat Time DE (Friday) for an extra day of practice, I mean test and tune.

Robert, I’ll let you know Monday if my car’s "running right."

See you guys there. 17 cars registered? Regardless of position, sounds like there’s going to be a race to be had! Awesome!

#53

Craig,

See you at the Seat Time event. I’ll be there and expect that I’ll be gunning for you. You better get used to seeing a black and white police car in front of you.

So…it sounds like you still haven’t learned that pecking order. You better get ready for a race you won’t forget.

Anyway, I’m super excited and I’ll see everyone there Friday.

Laura "I really am gunning for 1st" Patton

#54

LP, what are you driving for the seat time deal on Friday? Isn’t Betty Lou still napping in the trailer in Atlanta?

#55

Chuck,

Yeah, Thelma Lou is in the trailer. This whole arrive and drive thing doesn’t always work out like it’s supposed to but it’s all good. At least I’ll be getting some good warm up for Saturday.
