We will be there Thursday as well. We have a new (to us) motorhome but need help too hooking up the 50 amp stuff. Got a 50a 2 pole breaker, a temporary RV outlet and a length of #6-3 wire from Home Depot. Anything else i would need?

#22

Looks like a great field of cars. Im very excited about everything about the weekend except for the tow. I will be arriving sometime Thursday afternoon or evening. I have a red Ford dually with white enclosed trailer. Someone please point me in the right direction if anyone sees me completly confused at the track.

See everyone in less than a week.

50A service is 4 wire…one each ground and return, two 115V legs. If you have not done it before, find someone to walk you through it…you can kill yourself!!

Hey peeps, NASA is not gonna provide beer for the Saturday night party, right? Gotta bring our own beer/tequila. And about that, how about we keep the party at the paddock this time, no harassing Mexicans at their place of work, hehehe!! :stuck_out_tongue:

#25

Apparently we have to pay for our beer at the NASA party. This is a result of the track requiring us to use the track’s caterer, but NASA’s made a successful end-run on that scheme. NASA’s solution, however, nixed the free beer because that’s in the fine print of the contract.

So not only should we bring lots of beer, but we should also bring small coolers to the NASA party.

If we want to do our traditional SpecE30 after-party in the paddock, we should bring chow items. I’m bringing some stuff for Sat lunch, so I’ll leave dinner items for others to work out. My grill will certainly be available Sat night tho.

I am in. Just registered for Test & Tune + racing. Who else will be there on Friday? Anyone interested in running together for practice and sharing Traqdata info, let me know.
Bring lots of ice - it will be HOT.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I’d rather BYOB and get free power and camping at RA than free beer and pay $50+ for power and camping, with free beer for an hour at VIR.

Maybe a road trip down to Buckhead is in order Saturday night with the last place car as the DD. haha

#28

I’m signed up for Friday. I’m planning on getting to the track sometime Thursday evening. There’s a TON of track time for Test & Tune on Friday. Should be pretty fun!

#29

I’ll be there Thursday night, just like Ranger said, we need to keep those miatas out of our paddock space. I’ll be running Friday test and tune but not the Spec, see you all there!

#30

As of right now there at 7 Spec Miatas signed up for T&T and 8 (maybe 9) Spec E30s signed up. It will be a fierce battle fending off those things!

#31

I think there’s a couple SE30’s in comp school as well, including myself, who will be there Thursday night so we should have a fair contingent.

I noticed that the Saturday warmup session is a combination of all 3 groups…. lightning, thunder & blitz. WTF

#34

I Hear ya
Going to be crazy!!!

#35

Solution - double down for PTE, why travel so far for 2 short races. We had the same situation in march with warm-up and had no problems.

#36

26 signed up now! Palacio and Patton signed up. :woohoo: Looks like what little grass RA has will be cut by the end of the weekend. :cheer:

Super bummed, but I’m not going to make it down this weekend. Threw my back out yesterday and can barely walk.

Hoping to make the event in the beginning of August.

Have fun, looks like an epic field.
