Chuck what is the schedule for race times at RA this weekend?
Thanks, RP
We need for Al Kritter to post his video from Saturday’s qual session. That’s a “race story” in an of itself!
great event, chuck et al did a great job of organizing everything. no real “stories” compared to the monkeyshines of a typical nasa event but i think a good time was had by all, maybe a tad less by al kritter (let’s hope posts that video). i had a little bobble in 12 as well, fortunately it had a happier ending: http://vimeo.com/14895064
my laps were consistent enough to win the enduro, walsh and i battled in both sprints but he crossed the line first in both, congrats to him for good clean racing.

enduro middle: http://vimeo.com/14933908
sat race: http://vimeo.com/14895408

Congratulations to Jason and David on the race wins at Road Atlanta. From the start of the rain dampened race on Saturday, Jason had a great first lap. Walsh was forced to get up on the wheel earily.

thanks robert. i just wish it had rained more on sat, might have improved my chances!
Another great set of videos Jason. The main thing I noticed form watching all of them was your hand position and how hard and abruptly you tug on the wheel when turning in at turn 7. Also how abruptly your car can transition from left to right exiting 10a going to 10b without losing traction amazed me. Perhaps it is just because I haven’t watched hands as much before. Can’t wait to get my Aiptek mounted up and record all my sessions at Sebring. Hope they turn out as good as your videos.

Jason took me for some laps in his car at VIR a couple months ago. One of the things I noticed was how well it sticks. He has his weight balance, cross weights, sways and whatever the heck else goes into suspension, set up really well.
Holy cr@p Digel and I were watching from by the starter stand and saw the start of that and expected the black flag since it looked like disaster.
Then we saw you limp away and couldn’t figure out what happened and how you didn’t smush the wall.
Keep that 4 leaf clover! & wash the race suit twice.

Wait a minute…I thought the rule was to always present the passenger side to the wall.
