had ALOT of fun this weekend, esp driving Rob Summer’s yellow SE30 on Sunday… very first real start being standing, having zero time in any BMW period in the dry, starting 21st, working through the field a bit to 9th :woohoo:

I’m hooked B)

Anxiously awaiting videos…of the racing that is…not of Al.

Summary of my weekend:

I was too scared to race in the wet on Saturday. On Sunday, I qualified 11th but passed an invisible car under yellow and had to start from the back in the race. Had some great battles, especially a multi-lap back and forth with Scott, and eventually finished 12th.

Sat. was fun in the wet. I had an awful start and lost a spot JP. Skeen got away and was never challenged, but at least I got JP back on a last lap past. it was fun.

Sun. I started third and by turn 5 I was just about DFL. I spun but locked the car down pretty quickly and thankfully no one hit me. Nice driving guys! I put in one of my best drives ever getting back to 3rd by the end of the race. It would have made a good video if my camera hadn’t come off the mount and bounced around the car for the whole race.

I just watched your Sunday video and was wondering if you have a supercharger or turbo? Seriously, wouldn’t it be more fun to start at the back of the grid and still finish first? It would make for a great video. Great driving, BTW.

I’m afraid the spec exhaust might restrict the power a little bit. :frowning:

#16

Mike, Incredible video, is this a track record for spec e30? You will regret posting this, it should be no problem for me to duplicate what I’ve skeen now.

#17

Great Video! Where’s Travis’ video of Sunday’s race? :silly: :woohoo:

Not quite a record, third behind Carlton and Jonny Allen. Traqmate says I was pretty close to the record on lap 3, but that got messed up by the lap car. Oh well! Will try again in the summer.

i heard i should have stuck around for the banquet. oh well.
