RA Enduro thread

#1

Gritzer Beer and Lingerie Emporium will be there. We’re not planning on doing the whole 9hrs tho. We’ll go until it’s no longer fun. One trigger of which would be the prospect of changing red hot front brake pads in a hurry.

We’re running 2yr old RA1 full tread rains, so don’t get your panties wet when you pass us.

BTW, Simon “Elephant Motorsports” Hunter will be doing the enduro with Fred and I.

I sound like JP (the old timers will remember who he is) since I won’t actually be there but still talking sh!t…

Sadly, due to irreparable damage (given the time constraint), I will not be the owner masterminding the most mediocre team SpecE30 has ever seen nationally for the 9 hr enduro. And it’s a damn shame too, because we would have won the smack talk war by a land slide. And honestly, that’s what really counts. Instead of cheating up fuel rigs, devising quick brake pad changes and pitstop strategy, we were campaigning the most awesome smack talk this crappy thread has ever seen. It began with some pretty heavy internal verbal abuse as well.

The team was slated as myself, Jason “The Cobra” Mascow, Brian “Hamstring” Jones and Steve “I wasn’t paying attention during the formation of the IFU3 standing start” DeVinney. The only goal set was to win the smack talk war and embarrass Robinson when we beat him with our lack of preparation and amateur driver lineup.

I will be in attendance, but merely as a spectator now for a portion of the weekend, not as an a$$ kicker. You guys are more than welcome to the podium spot and Toyo bucks that I would have bogarted from you. I will make sure I have a 6th place trophy as well as the season points 6th place trophy instead. Who’s the most mediocre driver of 2009? In the mean time, I leave you with [a now wasted piece of] ammunition in the war of mediocrity:

Lol, Latin and Shakespear here at SpecE30.

Hey Jim I was reading some of your old DTOM posts today. Nice.

You know, it is a whole lot of track time for a fairly insignificant amount of money, but running your car for that long has got to put some serious wear on your car.

My vote goes to Pacalio for the win. He’s young and has the stamina to beat this over 40 crowd…

Wow that photo is better than the little hairy man CMP shot. Saved:woohoo:

Nice touch with the “36” tattoo!

Just curious Jim how much would a ride in the 9hr. run a guy if say he was interested.

That really depends on the team owner. At the least you can figure on a share of the entry fee.

It’s a nine hour race Bill, fast has nothing to do with it

And that was misdirection.

Moberg knows that fast* has everything to do with it.

*fast, consistent, and sympathetic to the equipment, that is.

… to compensate for you being the barnacle on the team :woohoo:

(I’m help the rookie out since the veteran M3Bill chooses to beat up on a rookie and Moberg apparently can’t defend himself)

Yo Geegar

That artwork is one of the 3 top things I have seen on the internet in 2009. Seriously. James facial expression is perfect.

Yo SE30 enduro teams, I’m not doing the 9-hour this year, so talk is cheap, but any of you guys planning to make a fundraiser out of the race for the Speedway Children’s Charities? See thread on NASAforum at http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=31675

I’d be game to pledge a team or two if you guys want to get it started.

A little friendly competition for $, in addition to finishing position, might be fun.
