this is a very good point…people having been using RA1’s forever now and there’s not much mystery on how to run them…888’s are pretty new and people are just now starting to use them…there is a learning curve when big changes (like different tires) are made

This is a little off topic but do we have to use R888 in the rain as well or can we use the RA-1 full treads that we got last year? I hate to buy another set of full treads when I only used the others for 1 practice session in the rain.

9.3.9.1. As of June 2, 2008 the Toyo R888, size 205/55/14 or 205/50/15 must be used in competition. The Toyo RA-1 may still be used in practice or other non competition sessions.
