Pulling Engine

I need to know where to hook the chain on the rear of the engine. I see where to hook on the front, where is the best place for the rear of the engine? Can you also pull the trans out at the same time leaving it hooked together? Just would like to know the best way. Thank you

There’s a place on the block right above the starter. Yes, you can take the trans out with the engine.

If you need to pull out the trans also, it’s easier to pull out engine and trans together. I did it that way.
