Pull - A - Part

#1

A car has just showed up locally in a pull-a-part. What parts would be at the top of your list to pull?

#2

depends, if its a late car definetely get the bumpers and front valence. Fenders for sure either way. Diff for sure.

#3

Also AFM, front calipers if Girling, fuel pressure regulator, ABS relay, ABS wheel sensors

#4

For possible use on a race car I’d add rear trailing arms, half shafts, and front struts to the list.

Curious, why “if Girling”? Just because that’s what you have or if there is an issue using the ATE calipers on our cars?

Just think the design is better. With the ATE, you can add the bronze solid brake guides, but the Girlings don’t need them and the pad wear is good - IMO.

Based on recent discussions/experience at the track, it may make more sense to get the subframe. It seems that when you take a hit on a rear wheel, it may be more likely to bend the tabs on the subframe than the trailing arm itself.
