We have done some new wiring, but I think the problem may be sensor-related. Sometimes the light is on, but usually only comes on after 10-30 seconds. Sometimes stays off for quite a while.

Seriously, though, thanks. I will check the fusible link.

Are ABS parts swappable between 87 and 89 cars? I have my rollover car (the source of my Racer X engine, Travis  ) to pick sensors, pump, computer, etc.

Steve is correct that is easy too “IF” your car has one. Apparently the 90 (and maybe some 89) cars don’t. So you tear all the wiring and what not apart looking for something that doesn’t exist.

If that happens it isn’t easy any longer.

All of my dark pictures are based on true events, so they’re hard knocks and/or kicks to the balls.

Yes,Steve, we’ll help you fix your brakes. Robinson’s advice comes from many hours and $$$$ of experience.

Double check with Jim, but I believe the balance of the parts are swappable…and we’ve got lots of spare components.

If it is not the fuse in the relay (and, yes, I have spares) you trobleshoot the sensors by doing this disconnect/drive around thing. Took me forever to find that the front wheels had two “right side” sensors installed. There is a right and left sensor for the front. The rears are the same. Ask me how many countless hours I have on that discovery. Heck, Robinson and I could have purchased cars for the $$$ spend at the school of hard knocks.

Now, back to the RA stories.

Al+beer+WalMart makes for a hilarious situation. Dave White is a rotten bastard and needs to get checked out…

Here is my recap and videos.

I had a great weekend and it was good seeing everyone again. Thanks to Steve D and OPM for the anti fog solution on Saturday, it worked like a charm for the rest of the weekend.

Looking forward to LeMons and then CMP.

One other quick ABS note: FWIW when I was diagnosing mine I found that the working sensors were all at 900 ohms. The rear sensor leads are easy to check if you pull the plugs that are under the rear seat (or where it used to be).
