Cosm3os, I didn’t defend any of the passes… Was working on the clean races, driving my lines etc. Tried not to be aggresive. Wait till the “R” is gone… lol

Been thinking about the defensive stuff… Part of the reason I started the Divebomb thread…Just looking to find out some boundaries…

More nice video’s to watch…

Damn Lako, that was a hard hit. Glad you’re OK though! Enough of that Spec Z talk…Spec E30!!

OK, some video from the race on Saturday. First race at Road Atlanta. Not the finish I was hoping for, but well, it was better than other folks finishes ^ :woohoo: (Just kidding Steve!)

Comments are always welcome!

Driving a defensive line is not aggressive. BLOCKING is aggressive driving. :S

Video to follow (our home internet went down over the weekend). But I have rear video from Saturday (one camera didn’t record) and both front and rear video from Sunday’s race. Had a great time back out on track. Some good close racing with the SE30 gang (Chuck, Sandro, Jared, Robert especially). Qualified 7th both days and finshed 4th both days… Can’t complain about that in such a tight field. Sorry to see Steve’s off on Sunday, definitely glad he’s OK (No breaking legs!!!).

For those who just want to cut to the good part, here is the cliff notes version:

Thanks Johntorg, nice views of the e30’s there…Great to see that turn 10a non pass from the rear…
What car you running? Is it more than a spec 944?

#34

Thanks, My car is a 91 Porsche 944 S2. In NASA, I run GTS2. It has a 190 WHP 3.0 Liter 16V engine. I finished 2nd out of 5 in both races. I also own a 1988 E30 M3 race car, which may see the light of day when I get some fueling issues resolved.

Internet is up at the house (finally). Here is Sunday’s race

Good driving Kelly - good to see you back in action out there!

Looked a fun race, especially considering how short it was. I think when you bump-drafted Sandro you could have just motored on by him instead. I think I should have made that same call Saturday when I did the same with Stoops. I had a good run going too.

Nice cutback on the repass from T7.

And I did appreciate you keeping Sandro off my tail for a little while!

Fun race with Eric and Sandro but the real pressure was behind me by Julio who wisely used the yellow in 5 to set up a backstraight pass before the double yellow flew…well done Julio.
