An acquaintance of mine in Atlanta has a very clean 1989 325i 2-door for sale. It seems to have a lot of the usual deferred maintenance done, in addition to a passel of upgrade parts. Some of the stuff isn’t SE30 legal but could be sold off to reduce the investment. No idea exactly what he wants. Won’t be cheap but for somebody who wants to start with a solid foundation this might be a good choice.
