Paddock question for VIR

#1

This is my first driving event with NASA. I have a car I’m finishing up for SpecE30 and would like to know how we reserve space in the paddock area? I will be arriving Friday evening for HPDE’s on Sat and Sun. Just wondering what the procedure is? Is it possible to be around the Spec E30 bunch so I can meet/question/get to know some people, or is it first come first serve?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

I won’t be racing with you guys that weekend, but the drill is pretty much always the same.

NASA MA will (or should already) have a paddock map with areas blocked out for each group. WHile not everyone follows the map… you should be able to find out where everyone will be. Usually a the first ones there will tape off an area to secure as many spots as available.

E30 guys have usually turned left into the paddock and took space about 1/2 way to the end of the paddock. Friday is a Test/Tune day so people will be arriving Thu. night…
