I mount the OP sensor on the motor mount strut or on on the side of the block using the threaded hole a bit below the block drain. Because there no relative motion when mounted in either of those places 1/4" copper tuning and swagelock fittings make the plumbing easy.

Almost done, just need to drill and tap the oil drain and then add some internal baffles.
