Oil filter relocation on the cheap?

What do you guys think about this?

$50 for a spin on adapter, lines, and remote spin on filter housing… The con is that it uses NPT fittings. Is that smart and/or even legal? Doesnt BMWCCA require AN fittings? What if i brazed/soldered the connections?

This would allow the easy use of a nice big Ford spin on filter.

It would be nice if we could relocate, but unfortunately… this in NOT legal.

Hrm i thought we and Carter agreed this is ok and is considered part of the oil cooler system?

I must have missed that :dry: That’s cool if we can. I hate oil filter placement on our cars.
