A few years ago, my brother took off the oil cooler on me 325is that I was racing. I have another car now, and I forgot what we did around the oil filter to make that happen. I’m thinking we needed the nub from an E car or something like that. Anyone have any experience with this, or better yet, anyone have the part that I need?
For the record, I ran the car for several years without the oil cooler without anything bad happening to it. I just think that the oil cooler is a source of failure, and the cooler on my current car looks like its ready to fail at any time.
