Sorry, I may have made the name of the file too cryptic. It’s “e30_Repair_Manual.zip”. Sheeze.

#4

I didn’t see it.

Shit. Well that will teach me to be snippy. Maybe NTFS Security is hosing it up for Anonymous. I’ll check.

Later edit: Y’know I was thinking this evening that my earlier response had been a little uncharactistically snippy and by god if the ftp site was goobered up at all I was going to look like an asshole. Sigh

Fixed now. Hopefully. Sorry about that.

Was looking for any manual information, came across this thread, but link doesn’t seem to work…
I found an electrical troubleshoting download, are there any other manuals I need to be looking at for the e30? ( like a new link to this one maybe )?

Any info would be appreciated…

The link tests fine.

Just spent 45min testing our ftp server, routing and firewall because ftp didn’t seem to be working for the outside world. Found that it’s working fine, except that recent routing changes managed to fool me and I can’t get to it’s external address, unless I’m external. And I’m not.

I have a PC routing to each of our Internet connections, and that used to be good enough to test this sort of thing.

Here’s output from g6ftp.com, and ftp testing site:
About to connect() to filesharing.brasselerusa.com port 21

  • Trying 12.16.54.198… connected
  • Connected to filesharing.brasselerusa.com (12.16.54.198) port 21
< 220 SavPublicFTP Microsoft FTP Service (Version 5.0).

USER anonymous
< 331 Anonymous access allowed, send identity (e-mail name) as password.

PASS *****
< 230-Welcome to the BrasselerUSA ftp site
< 230 Anonymous user logged in.

PWD
< 257 “/” is current directory.

  • Entry path is ‘/’

That was sure 45min pissed away.

only half. i stopped using ftp a while ago once most things became down-loadable via http. there’s so many ways to share files now like torrents and other p2p channels. i can’t recall the last time i ftp’d into a server (except at work).

#12

Yeah as far as making things downloadable I don’t know why Scott chooses to use ftp instead of http, but ftp is still my primary method of connecting to my web servers to make changes.

#13

Ok, it works from home, must be something with the work servers…Thanks Ranger…B)

Have been trying to find the elusive “specifications” that are referenced in the shop manuals. Here some of them are.
