Oct Date?

I thought the schedule had an Oct. date in Barber but now it looks to be gone?

Does this mean another Roebling date? Pls Pls Pls??

No, it’s not. October is TBA right now.

Go ahead and ask Pantas to find another Roebling date if you dare. He was getting tired of hearing it after I said that about 50 times last week.

The way I understand it we couldn’t get the secound RRR date because the only available weekend was very close to Nationals. As in a week or two, making it an either/or scenario for most.

Hmm drive 10 plus hours to finish last and or have my car balled up as Skeen knife fights with a bunch of MA dudes for a toyo hat? Or play with a bunch of buddies at Roebling that is only 4 hours away and quickly becoming my favorite track in the world.

I know how I vote, but I’m sure NASA has bigger considerations…

Wasn’t the last Roebling race of 2007 a week or 2 after Nationals?

Was that not the largest field of E30’s in the Southeast?

I want to do Nationals. But I want to do 2 Roebling’s more. With that said… I know it’s not gonna happen. But it sure would be nice.

Maybe we aren’t utterly bound by the NASA schedule. Maybe it’s a matter of Roebling’s schedule. If Roebling has a free weekend, there’s nothing preventing us from renting the track and calling it the "World Spec E30 lapalooza" or the "48hrs of Roebling", and executing our own plan. But the schedule fills up quick. No telling if there’s still a weekend left.

Much as I love Roebling too, I’m keeping an open mind about the ‘new’ CMP configuration and partial repave…For 2008 I think it’s gonna be the game in town. Let’s all plan on hitting CMP in February and see what they’ve done for us.

For RRR, there don’t seem to be any dates. Unless we can figure out how to drive our cars on 2 wheels and go moter-sikling.

If you do the Rock I’ll sign up tomorrow. Racing there is second only to Roebling.

Don’t get me wrong, the track itself sucks…but the racing there was incredible!
