now I have my car

I bought a 90 325i last week and planned to convert it myself …

Then I saw the completed car for sale in the se30 classifieds. This car was built by John Siau & John Mills and they did a pretty nice job so I bought it. That will save me 100 hours on my garage floor alone.

I’ll be coming to HPDE events until I get my provisional license. So, I plan to be ready to race with you guys early in 08.

Looking forward to it.

I’ll be involved in the intructor training at the sep22-23 Infineon event but I’ll stop over and say hi.

I will miss this event due to it being HPDE only and its closeness to the return from the nationals. We will all be at the season ender at llihrednuht on oct 12-13.
I will start a new post before to assemble the troop.
Also I am sporting a radical new paint design for the nationals.
I am posting updates in the gallery soon.

I know that I’m going to miss 9/22, and may only attend 9/23 in the open track group since HPDE4 and TT are both full (not that I was seriously considering TT Steve B)

Unfortunately, I will also miss llihrednuht since I’ll be at Buttonwillow at the Driving Concepts school. I’m going to crew for one of the enduro racers as well, so should be a good experience. I would love to do thill backwards, but thems the breaks, maybe next year.

I’m looking for a donor car / spare engine if anyone knows of one. I would take a car if the 5 speed is in good shape and it has a diff to use for spares.
