No starting w/o dashboard

My cage builder is ready today but when I took out the dashboard the car failed to start. It turns over like a champ, but that is all. I assume I must have disconnected something important, but I don’t know what that is. Can anybody give me a clue here ?

sorry if this is too obvious, but did you leave the DME plugged in? (silver box on the passenger side underside of the dash)

OK so I really am a dumb ass.
I did forget that little silver box that says
VDO, so I plugged that in and still no go.
Then I started looking around and realized I had some leads off the ECU harness that needed to be reconected. That did it !!!
Now on to the trailer and the cage builder.
Thanks for jump starting my brain.
