Newer plastic short bumper swap

#1

Is it legal to swap in a set of body colored pastic bumpers on a car that didn’t come with them (earlier models). I couldn’t find anything in the regs. but I just want to be sure I didn’t miss something? Thanks!

I think this string contains the spirit of the rule/consensus/multiplicity of opinions.

Whoops! Sorry. I should’ve taken a minute and used the search button more effectively. Thanks for the link. Very informative (and so far disappointing) cheers,

I still do not understand the fascination with plastic bumpers.

Yeah the look a hell of a lot better.

But on track you ARE going to touch something one day…just do it long enough. The diving boards protect the car (and themselves) far better.

But what do I know??? I love 4 doors too!!!

I think it’s that the plastics are more readily avail. 2nd. hand then the chrome cow-catchers. It’s the main reason I asked in the first place.
