My name is Greg. I am currently running my 87 325is in NASA HPDE. I will be building the car slowly as I move through the classes. I did 4 HPDE1 events last year, and one panoz driving school. I have seen most of you SE and MA guys run, and looks like good fun. My plan is to do little things here and there untill I finish HPDE2, at which time I will take the car off the road and finish the build. There is something to be said about being able to drive to the track that I will miss.

I currently have a 4 point roll bar welded into the car. Do you think there is a potential probolem just adding on to this to finish my cage?

One other question I am currently getting a vibration at about 100 mph. When I bought the car I replaced both front control arms, ball joints and tie rods with offset control arm bushing. Recently replaced rear shock mounts and rear sub-frame mounts. Still getting the vibration any ideas as to what may be causing this?(shock and springs were done also.)

I will be attending the MA VIR event at the end of March, so look foward to seeing you all there. My car is white # 12 (I hope to get #12)

Link is to a short clip of my last event with Panoz

Maybe a balance issue or a bent wheel?

I balance the wheels before each event, but never checked to see if any of the wheels were bent. Bent wheels usually are a different type of vibration though and I would think start at lower speeds.

I will check it out though
Thanks,
