Hi All,
Just wanted to jump in and introduce myself quickly. Just purchased a Spec E30 car, will be picking it up shortly. I’m going to attend some HPDEs early in the year and maybe start racing in the second half of 2008 or 2009 (need to get my competition license first). I’m pretty excited about joining up, this seems to be a pretty competitive and yet friendly field of racers.
Currently on the waiting list for Febuary HPDE, hopefully I’ll get my spot and will be able to attend.
Welcome to the community! What region are you in? Did you buy a fully prepped SE30 car if so whose did you buy? I am sure you’ll enjoy racing in the series. Its a great group of people and good clean competition.
I’m in Raleigh, NC - MidAtlantic region.
I did buy a prepped car, but the gentleman has not raced it before in Spec E30, he used to run it in KP, but then converted it over.

If you ask me. Central NC is one of the greatest places to live if you’re racing in Spec E30. Because you can run with both Mid-Atlantic and/or Southeast.
I’m new to the area to. Building my e30 racecar now. I’n glad to have located the forum here. I will have to come see what to competition looks like at VIR or at Summit Pt.
Do any of you guys build cages or loan out welding equipment?
