have you checked with travis? i heard he’s a dirty cheater so he probaly has plenty of illegal parts (aka: his spares) laying around
also, pics of the jagermeister car or ban!
Al’s jagermeister car is just the car where he sets his bottle.
Why not do a junkyard turbo or stroker deal.
There’s a M20 turbo motor on Craigslist Columbia, SC right now. It’s in Rock Hill so it’s probably Bob. No hours, brand new engine.
It’s only $6000 (I need a choking smiley now.)
No, Al’s turbo build will be an obscure Volvo turbo mated to some pepboys exhaust tubing with clamps, and maybe a little dryer duct work thrown in for effect.
already got a turbo…the one that ran at VIR last month…has Volvo and Audi parts on it, plus a GM/nascar radiator and a 4 speed transmission out of a 728i that was in use at the Libyan embassy in Cypress…
This is for the SVRA 2.5 Trans Am/IMSA RS reunion so it has to be pretty tame…although It would be nice to put triple side draught webers on an m20…

Al has never spent that much on an entire car.
No doubt. Personally I hope he goes with a carb solution. The increase the odds of it catching on fire. Which is a hallmark of the sucderia gonzo alonzo
Actually I think the high FP that FI runs increases the risk of fire, especially if you use crappy hoses…
My biodiesel runs 1000 degree exhaust temps…and it didnt catch on fire…but the other day I was working on an old Volvo, put some gas in the intake just to get it to fire, it did fire and blew the intake hose 30 feet in the air, flaming. When it hit the ground flames scattered 6 feet form the raw gas that was in the intake boot. It was pretty spectacular.
Al
Between you and Ranger we could have a GREAT reality TV show!
Skeen, you have any connections?
Al - on the democross car I was spraying brake cleaner in the intake to get it to crank while Geegar layed on the starter and WOT.
Same thing happened about every hose blew off along with the airbox. It was spectacular and unexpected so I about sh!t my pants.
Good times.
