need stock cat/mid-pipe...

For those of you who have installed the se30 exhaust… anychance you kept the cat/mid??? Low milage preferred. The PO of my 87 is gutted the cat and I just hate the sound it makes, I’m sure it is causing other issues too… rich, cold rough idle, etc.
Would be glad to take it out of your garage/storage and free up some space for ya. :slight_smile: Se30 exhaust setup is later down the road for me.
I’m in central VA, will be instructing at VIR this weekend Oct 8-10.

I have a stock cat that I’d be willing to sell. Cats are worth some coin. Maybe we could negotiate a SpecE30-special-garage-space-saving-rate, though :wink:

Hmm. Interesting. I’ve never even seen the stock system on our cars. Is it 1 pipe or 2?

A 325i/is has a twin pipe exhaust.

mine just has that front smaller cat box, not two. weird?
