I was at Lime Rock this weekend with BMWCCA.
What a miserable day, cold and raining all day.
I spoke to a few of the KP guys and they are looking for some Spec e30 action but there not enough cars. One guy even had a SpecE30 sticker on his car, has not had the chance to race SpecE30 yet (he has has it for 3 years).
Get that car finished already so you can add to the numbers :laugh:
But I guess it will be a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts for awhile, people want to race, but not if numbers are low, so no one goes. The NE in general is small, spec miata even only gets 4-5 cars tops. I honestly think SE30 will make some good progress this year in the NE. Hopefully NJMP will bring some MA people up as well.
We can start with the Pocono race the end of May, Jon a., Andrew Z, Sean C, who else wants to play???
If all goes as planned I should be there for the DE. My car is getting it’s cage as we speak. I just need to find a windshield and install some new brake pad.

I’m not sure why the calendar on here is blank or if that is going to change. Your best bet for finding out scheduling info is go to the NASA NE site http://www.nasanortheast.org/schedule.htm
Are you running in another series right now? it will be good to have you out there when you’re ready to make the jump to SE30.

Well after the wonders of having a new son in Feb, and a surge in work, I am woefully behind schedule and learning to juggle!!
I got the cage installed in my car over winter - Mark McMahan did a great job. I have got most of the regular / preventative maintenance out of the way but I won’t be ready to race in May.
You can add me to the list. I plan to be there for the HDPE for the Pocono May weekend - I’ll try and get there for at least one day and … preparing to participate later this season.
I really hope we can get some buzz going for the NE this class has great pospects if we can get a critical mass.

It’s good to see some activity there in the NE.
