For the maximum experience you want the bump while entering the Esses…

I’ll bring the beer, you bring the RV and an extension cord.

I was thinking the same thing. Anywhere you want a solid square-punch from my front bumper, just let me know. Then we can, quite literally, “chill” out in the AC motorhome!

Perfect!

I’ll be bringing SpecE30 patches and steering box plugs if anyone wants them. Details in classified ads.

I left it too late to register online for HPDE-2. On the website it says that I can still register for some sessions at the track, does that include HPDE-2?

Thanks,

Andy

You’ll need clarification from Jim or Julie Pantas and this isn’t the place to get it.

I can’t get out of town until Friday 8PM. If anyone in enduro breaks something, that gives you a couple hrs to give me a call before I hit the road. Cell (912) 604-5437.

Man, race car karma is a b!tch.

I didn’t realize that was you in the car when I came by 10A to offer you a ride back to the paddock or I would have introduced myself. That was the best “get the car off the track and behind the barrier so they don’t throw a yellow” move I have ever seen. Very heads-up.

I hope your motor build goes smoothly and you get back for August. Hopefully you got all your mechanical bad luck out of the way in one weekend.

I wrote this post Thur before RA. Y’all should be ashamed that I didn’t get a call when Scott’s tbelt broke. I could have brought a spare head and we’d a had his car running by Qual Saturday morning.

Steve, race car Karma is a total bitch. I called the Pantas CMC car junk and it broke down on me accordingly.

I didn’t want it to cause a yellow, so I found a way off track. I try to do that. When they threw the red flag for the engine fire on the stock car, I already had the hood open trying to fix the broken throttle cable. If I had fixed it, I could have gotten back on track. As it was, I idled it up the hill and back to the pits.

I will say that in qualifying on Sunday, the trans bolts had all fallen out and it wouldn’t shift. Not sure that is karma. I am sure that I had a poor weekend mechanically and not one that I want to repeat. I need to get the SE30 in shape so I can have some fun. I can’t believe I missed racing in another huge field. Kind of sucks. I wish I had remembered Ranger’s post about parts. I would have done virtually anything to get the car on track.
