NASA Florida and BMWCCA Club Race at Sebring

I think most people may have heard about this already, but if not, this is going to be a great event! We should have some great fields and great racing. Sebring in the spring is always awesome!

Nasa signup page:

Hope everyone can make it!

I’m there!

I looked around on the NASA FL site but didn’t see a page with the entry list. Is there one published?

His response was that the event page (…1416 above) would post the entry list about a week prior, but if we want him to pull a list for us of SpecE30 registrants on ad-hoc basis, he’s willing to do so.

I’m in as well, but won’t register until I get my medical renewed later this week.

He tends to wait till about two before the event before the list gets published. So far, we have:

1-Natalie B
2-Shawn W
3-Don S
4-Jim L
5-Jim Pantas (I heard)
6-Kish
7-Chuck T

Everyone on the list above has registered already, except Chuck. Who else is going to come join the fun! It’s Sebring!!!

Seven cars isn’t bad, but more would just be more fun. And it is Sebring. Surely some more SE folks can “man up” and make the trip! I for one am looking forward to checking a “bucket list track” off and plan on giving the locals a run for their money.

I successfully BS’d my way past the medical exam today, so I’m now registered and paid up for Sebring.

I’m told a thorough nut/bolt check is in order, and lots of racer tape/zip ties should be packed because that track shakes the cars to pieces.

I have three kinds of car tape, an outstanding collection of zip ties, pop rivets, and a blasé attitude with respect to loose or missing non-essential parts. I think I’m good to go.

LOL. It’s not that bad. Turn 17 is bumpy and car will load and unload all the way through the corner. It’s all concrete through there and the seams are what make it bumpy. The loooong back straight will give you time to check everything over and read an article or two before you get to 17, but the rest is a blast!

looking forward to it!!

Come on, who else wants to go drive a historic track, and try to steal their lunch money while we’re at it. There’s a $50 discount coupon available to SE racers making the haul, courtesy of Jon Felton. Email or PM me if you need it.
