Name This Part!

#1

Anyone know what the attached part is? After my cage build, I received this in a tin can of removed items. I’m really more curious than attributing this to any particular function that no longer works. I may end up blaming it for slow lap times though…

Looks like one of the connectors that goes in the back of the speedo/tach cluster.

#3

if you post a part number someone with ETK can look it up.

On the back of the part it has the following:

V O2S (2 is low) A

        BMW 1372218
        AMP 927244

Anyone with ETK?

Thanks,
Sasha

Looks likes it goes on the back of the instrument cluster - see image.

Thanks, Ed–it looks like you’ve found it! All my gauges seem to function, so I’m not certain what it’s for.

Cruise definitely doesn’t work since I’ve pulled the servo and the CC ECU, but since I’m selling the entire thing to a crazy German for silly money, I’ll send this along, too.

Thanks!

Know any other silly germans…I have 2 Cruise controls to sell

Actually, the crazy German doesn’t get the servo, since he bid $60 for just the servo when it was up on eBay, and that wasn’t enough to win it! Put your stuff up on the 'Bay and hopefully you’ll have good luck like me!

That’s much better then me ! I sold servo and cable for $10.49 + shipping on e-bay

I was lucky with the servo, but not so with other parts. There was some cosmic conservation law at work when I listed 14 parts. Some, like the cruise control, fetched silly money, and then I got $10 for a complete set of pristine door panels. It was hit-or-miss, but on the whole I think I will eek out maybe $800 worth of parts sales when I’m all finished. Hello camber plates. Hello race springs. Hello sway bars!
