Can someone please post a picture of how the two pieces of the motor mount heat shield (passenger side) mount? I can’t figure out how the hevier black piece mounts. TIA!

From memory, the only heat shield is the thin silver metal thingy (#11)?
Is the heavier black piece the remains of your melted motor mount?

What I got from the dealer looks different than this, my car’s an '87 if that matters.
What I have is a heavy steel piece that is painted black steel, it has a flat top with one side that goes down into a hook that looks like it should go under something and the other side goes up into two small ears where the other aluminum piece would bolt on. These were ordered from the dealer’s parts catalog.

The black part with the hook goes under the motor mount facing the front of the car such that it hooks under the front of the subframe and the larger part of the black piece is behind the motor mount and the shiny metal part over top of the motor mount protecting the mount from the heat of the exhaust manifold above it. I agree it’s not the same piece pictured at realoem.com for some reason.
