Mid-Ohio July '11

OK guys. There are only 6 signed up. I know of at least a few more who could make it. The 8 ball is not on there so Rob or Kevin lets get with it. You all know we need the practice before nationals and even though it may be hot just remember it is not Atlanta. I will be defending my Sunday win from the last M-O event and hope Anthony did not find that wire I pulled loose on his car.

So lets get some talk going about this event and get signed up.

Also of importance is that the hotels are filling up for the August event and Nationals so don’t delay on booking a room.

Me either! It should be a fun weekend. I need to work on my Mid-Ohio skills.

Is the truck still down?

Yeah, I would have had it running today but as I was putting it back together I found a crack in one of the power steering lines. But really the truck will be running by the July Mid-Ohio. The truck just ate all my money.

We are trying to make it out with a couple of cars. Not sure if its going to happen yet or not. If anyone needs a rental ride for this event we have availability.

Looks like we are not going to make it:( . We will be at the August race however and we have seats available in our winning spec E30’s.

If someone has Robert Grace’s email, let him know where we all usually paddock: in the tree covered grassy area between the paved upper paddock and the restroom/showers/SCCA tech building.

I’ll be up Friday after work to drop off the trailer.

Yes, I will be there,towing a borrowed trailer. Mine had some…issues. Huge thanks to Denny for his help, though. Seems like the issues with the car all stacked up this year, too. I wish Michael would tell me where that wire is he pulled so that my fuel gauge and power window and mirrors will work again… :frowning:
Lol. In reality, there may be some bigger stuff going on, so we’ll see how the car does this weekend. We’re looking forward to it.

Jeremy, thanks for the heads up on the paddock location. I won’t be arriving at the track until pretty late Friday night. Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to drive Mid-O!

We’ll try and save you space.
Osborne puts out some big tall orange cones for everyone, so if looks there’s space in the cone area, take it!

Yeah, I’ll be up there Friday early evening. Will have the cones in place ASAP after I get there. The cones have DEBCON on them in blue. I figured the cones were better then bringing up the traffic barrels. May try them at Nationals.

Sorry guys, my 7 yr old shattered his femur last week so I won’t be making this race. Crossing fingers that I can make it to the Sept race since I am traveling to China around that time.
