Rather than hijack Ranger’s build thread, figured I’d post a photo of my dropped column.
Drilled out the oem bolts with the assistance of a screw extractor set. Purchased new bolts and spacers at Lowes and voila, comfy seating position.

pretty much how i have it done on both my cars, has worked fine all season!
