Looks like it was wet Saturday. Wish I was there for the fun.

Does anyone have any exciting stories to tell? I saw pics of ScottC’s Saturday contact on facebook. How’d Ron and RyanG get dq’d on Sunday?

Adam,

You’d have loved the rain on Sat. Missed seeing you spin.

On Sunday after qualifying, I forgot to throw my spare tire in the trunk and ended under weight. It my own fault.

The supersizing was a great option. It fills in all of the spare time with active track time.

Great weekend at the track. I’m sorry you missed it Adam and I am sure you had much more fun at the wedding. Saturday in the rain after I crashed in PT, AJ went on to finish 3rd in PTE and 7th overall in PT in the wet. Will won Saturday’s race, I finished 8th :frowning: and on Sunday Carl won, I finished 6th. AJ finished one position in front of me both races. I ran PT on Sunday, started 13th and finished 6th. There was a little contact between Ron and Brad in turn 11 on Sunday’s race resulting in pretty bad door damage to the BTM car and right front damage to Ron’s car. Bennett won the hard charger from Evil genius coming from 13th to 9th in Sunday’s race. Ron won the clutch on Saturday and Scott N. won the clutch on Sunday from the random drawing. The Saturday race was wet off and on with a dry qual. and Sunday was dry all day but very windy. I personally want to thank everyone in Spec E30 for another killer race weekend and I can’t wait untill next month at Tunderhill.

Many thanks to John for picking little old me for the Hard Charger “Franklin”. Once again I had a blast racing with you all, thanks to anyone that gave me advice or race secrets and especially to the ones that let me pass them .

See everyone at T-Hill next month, hope I can live up to the award!

Look for the weather report as the race gets closer!

Well done everyone, It was great watching both races!

Thanks to everyone in the Spec E30 Paddock! I enjoyed the race very much on Saturday. Dicing it up with the Scotts and Dan was a blast. Scott thanks for not kicking my Butt afterwards for shoving you on turn 11, …my fault and I appreciate your cheerful attitude afterwards.

You guys all taught me alot. I am humbled by all the great drivers in this crowd. Hopefully I wont give up 5 spots on the start next time, but it was exciting trying to work up in the rain…nobody wanted to give a point by and get their hand wet in the rain;) . These E30 are a kick in the pants to drive!

Infineon is a sweet flowing track. I may have a new favorite. You guys know how to drive it! It is nice to finally drive it. Thanks to Steve and MacKensie for introducing me to this track and this group.

Big Thanks to Tony, Sean and their crew at Speed Trapp Racing! Your professionalism, service and attitude made it a memory for a lifetime weekend! Sean’s voice on the Radio is burned into my memory “Nice Save!”, sorry you had to say it so many times. Tony’s instruction on Friday gave me much confidence coming into the race on Saturday. I can’t thank you enough…it was worth every penny. Thanks for putting up with this Rookie.

I need the team drivers from Sunday, TIA.

What a fun weekend!!! It was great seeing all you guys and even better racing with you all. Our field of cars is the single best looking field I have ever seen in grassroots racing. My dad commented that our cars all looked better than the Porsches that were on track with us.

Thanks to Walter and PointSix for a PERFECT car on Saturday. I felt like I had to avenge my T10 incident from last time we were at Sears Point.

I hope everybody took notes on Carl Chiu’s driving on Sunday. Congrats Carl! Carl drove an absolute textbook perfect race at least what I could see untill he left us in the dust…

I had a front tranny seal leaking and the clutch started to slip along with a fuel leak onto the right rear tire. That along with Donny’s fuel starving car made for a very fun run with us battling the entire race…

Congrats to Makenzie(SP?) for laying down the fast lap in qual on Sunday. I cant wait till you get the other 2 cylinders in your car working so we can add another car to these battles!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

Can’t wait for the next one!!!

See you at the track!!!

OK…here we go…these are for Sunday’s race with the fastest lap times:

Team PointSix Racing: Carl Chiu
Team PointSix Racing 1: Will Faules
Team J&F Racing: Mackenzie Johnson
Team Brimstone Dynasty: Donny Edwards

I think these are the ones you’re interested in based on lap times.

Cheers,
Scott

I think we ended up third on Saturday with me driving, and Brad drove the race Sunday in the Team BTM Motorwerks car.

The sideways action at the front of the field at the beginning of Saturday’s race was to provide more ‘BTM Motorwerks’ advertising to the captive audience I was holding up behind me. Will definitely had the setup to beat! :o

Just back from Puerto Rico last night, just wanted to say what a great weekend that was. Adam, we missed you out there. Supersize was great, and I somehow caught a lucky break or two in the PT race Sat to finish like I did, and seem to have held down the mid-pack slot pretty consistently and drove alone the better part of both SE30 races.

With everything that happened and got rebuilt last year, plus the rain in Feb it feels like a really long time since I pedaled the car that hard and it felt really good. Pretty stoked to finally break into 1:59s a few times, and looking forward to mixing it up next month at Thill.

Hey all,

Does anyone (Bennett) have video of the Sat. PTE start or any other videos. If so can you download to Vimeo. Had a ton of fun and fixed the car already, It mainly took a big sledge and a new fender. See you all at Thill.

Is “sledge” a new kind of beer?

There was operator error in Sat. race, but the bigger problem is I can’t up load to Vimeo, after about 3% it times-out and it says it needs 20 hours to up load 200mb…
Something’s wrong and I have not had a chance to work on it…

Scott I have great video of the back of your car for a whole lotta laps. I can’t figure out how to get it on Vimeo either. I registered and have tried to upload but nothing happens.

Clearing I am doing something wrong…like turn 11. I will try to figure it out.
