I’m fixing to jump off the deep end and go from an eta to that big HP unit M20B25 motor. I would like to do a refresh of the engine prior to it going into the car. Just basic cleanup and inspection for the head and block stuff at this time. Looking for any recommendations in the Savannah/Atlanta/Columbia/Jacksonville areas. All those are reasonably close as I am near Savannah. Any and all experiences you may have had are helpful.

There’s a shop near where 521 ends in Garden City. It’s called AutoMachine. He’s done one block for me and prob 4 heads over the years. Old guy. Huge skills. Charges only beer money. Been some years since I’ve been there tho, and he was talking about retiring. Shop could be gone now.
