Lowe's, who's coming?

#1

Since the roster probably won’t be posted for a little while, thought I’d ask to see who’s coming.

Assuming it won’t snow that day, hopefully I’ll be there.

#2

will be there, already registered, will bring it and swing it, not just sing it.

i’m tempted but $250 for one day is a little steep for me. i see that you can sign up as an instructor but i don’t what that’s for as there’s only hpde3/4. can anyone clarify that?

#4

Jason, last year it was only 3 and 4, plus racing/time trials, so there weren’t any instructors. Not sure about this year, but from reading the description it sounds about the same.

$250 is a lot for one day, but it’s a pretty cool track, oval is incredibly smooth, and you get two races in one day. You’ll be very surprised when you realize how much stuff Jim and Julie pack in one day.

I’m in!

Jason, I second Alex’s motion. Lowe’s (sorry CHARLOTTE motor speedway) is a hoot to drive. Nice change of pace and well worth the $$$.

#6

I’d have to agree with Fred… and even Alex  on this one. Lowe’s is a F’n great track. Fun to race on. Just keep a sharp eye on ya-who’s entering t1, and it’ll all be good.

Wish I was going, but I’m not. I’ll see you nutbags at CMP

#7

Damn Scott Mc!! I thought I have been MIA this year. You are certainly earning that title. Hope to see you soon!

I will be at Lowe’s. It’s a great track and a lot of fun to race on. Now I just need to find a tow vehicle…anyone on here selling a 2000 or newer Suburban in good shape within 100 - 200 miles of Columbia SC???

Nice. A few people are in.

Jones - talk to Scott McC, he’s not using his!

Thanks brother! I appreciate the offer! I think I can scare up a truck around here to borrow for one day, still looking to buy if anyone has a lead.

Thanks,
Brian

Here’s the list as of last update from Pantas. 10 cars so far; not terrible for a school day, but is there anybody else out there thinking about joining in? I’d love to but will be in S Fla as I am virtually every Monday. Am planning to hit the July 2nd event however. Anybody else?

10 is still the largest class for the day.

Actually, the list of people is pretty light across the board, maybe cause it’s a Monday. I’m looking forward to it. I know Al is planning to reclaim his “race winner” status at this one.

Steve D - you coming? Come on, you drove up in a blizzard to CMP but won’t come up on a sunny day to Charlotte?

i signed up today using my $50 nccar discount
