Low Country Boil at Roebling Road this Weekend

#1

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Geno’s Garage will be hosting a Low Country Boil on Friday night at the track. I’ll make sure there is plenty of shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes and I’ll make a few pecan pie’s. It’s BYOB but everything else is covered. The only thing I ask in return is that you make sure you put a Geno’s Garage decal on your car for the races this weekend.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Like I said, all E30 racers are invited and I’ll have food cooking probably around 6pm and I’ll just keep it coming.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Laura Lou

Awesome!

I bet the Geno’s Garage stickers have a better track record than the BeerTech stickers. Are you guys bringing the gas powered margarita maker, or is it too loud for RRR??

It wouldn’t be a weekend without the gas powered margarita machine.

Would I forget?

Back in the day, before there was VIR, we had Rockingham about 2 hours away, and RRR about 5.5 hours away from the Raleigh area. We spent many weekends at RRR and they almost always had a Low Country Boil at the track on Sat night.

One of my good friends got violently ill the night after eating a low country boil- as a result of a food allergy (shrimp, he thinks). We were camping in the paddock area under the pine trees- and he rolled out of his Suburban (tow vehicle/track camper) several times that night to eject some "bad" food. We have since referred to that type of cooking as a Low Country HURL…

Never bothered me a bit, other than the feeling of eating WAY too much because it was soooo darn good…

Laura Patton thanks in advance for all of your efforts in bringing the Spec E30 community together and promoting the fun part of racing.

I’ll bring your arrive-and-drive stuff. You keep everyone fed and happy.

If I read Julie’s e-mail correctly, you might not be able to bring a vehicle into the track earily on Friday, but you may be able to park it and walk over earily.

See ya, Robert Patton
