Looking to get a new rebuilt diff

Who have you guys used for rebuilt diffs? I’d like to purchase a newly rebuilt one properly set up with the correct amount of breakaway torque.

There’s some controversy re. breaking strength of diffs. My theory is that you don’t want a diff that is too strong. As long as you aren’t getting wheelspin exiting out of slow turns, your diff is strong enough. More than that and you’re just creating understeer at turn entry because the stiff diff doesn’t want to turn. I think 40-45 ftlbs is the sweetspot. 50ftlbs I think is too strong and if you don’t get wheelspin with a 35ftlb diff, more power to you.

Be advised that not everyone buys my theory on this.

I don’t disagree with Ranger, necessarily, but in a perfect world, I’d add more sway bar in the rear of my car to get it to turn, but when I do that, it picks up the tire, so I wind up running the bar full soft, and I still can’t always get all the power down. Problem is biggest at Road Atlanta T7 and to some degree 10b.
