I was looking at removing my doors’ interior panels and window mechanisms. However, I wondered if anyone else had done this and put some sort of bracket together to hold the glass securely in place.
Looking for suggestions - mount rear window glass

Your car will be light enough without removing the rear window electrics. Additionally, you’ll want weight at the rear of the car. Finally, the famous Carter Hunt rule should apply to your rear windows/electrics, If the rules don’t say that you can, then you can’t," or something to that effect. I am pretty sure you can remove the motors. I researched it when I had to replace a door.
I held the glass up with a hose clamp around the tube…you will see what I mean when you take it apart.
