After my issues at CMP this weekend, I’ve decided the current tranny has to go before Road Atlanta. Anyone have a good one for sale in the Atlanta area?
Looking for a transmission

Yes, he could do that or he could have someone bring it to him and pay half the price.

Relax! it was just another suggestion. I know Thrash at Strictly German, and he will work with you on price. But if you can get a good deal on a transmission and get it brought to you then my all means.
I’m very relaxed actually, and I know Alex at Molitar Motorsports. The nice thing about Alex is you don’t need to try and work with him on price, cause he isn’t going to screw you to start with.
I am working on a deal with a local crusher yard…I am going to try and get every tranny that comes in there, they will be untested, I think I can do it for $275 delivered to the track…I am going to try and get the first batch right after the VIR event…of course I have to pull em…

Bill,
I (also) looked for a transmission after deciding it is probably contributing towards my pressure plate destruction. I found one I’m picking up Saturday… but did find this shop in Austell… they had two E30 manual gearboxes, one had just under 200k miles and the other was unknown mileage. They quoted me $200 each. If I haden’t found this other one I would have bought one of them.
