Logbook inspections in DC/MD/VA?

I posted this over on NASAforums, but haven’t received any response…

I’m wondering where I can get a logbook for my car? The CCR says:[quote]16.1 Competition Vehicle Logbook
Each entrant is required to possess, and present upon demand, a current NASA
Competition Vehicle Logbook issued for the entered vehicle. Only a NASA authorized
Inspector, or inspection shop, can issue a NASA Competition Vehicle Logbook…

16.2 Annual Safety Inspection
Each calendar year before vehicle’s first race, the vehicle must go through a full
inspection, which must be done by appointment, by an authorized NASA Tech Official or
at one of the NASA authorized completion vehicle tech shops.[/quote]
But, the list of Mid-Atlantic shops makes no distinctions about "completion vehicle tech shops" (Dan Martin, in Gaithersburg, MD is my normal mechanic, anyway.)

Dan Martin says he has logbooks, but Chris hasn’t ever responded as to whether or not he can sign off on new cars.
