Llihrednuht roll call!
Thanks everyone for an awesome race, particularly Sunday and Ron H. for the most fun I have ever had on a track.
I drove the 10/10ths car this weekend. Steve was nice enough to let me have a chance to get out of my provisional this season, but due to my n00bness I messed it up for myself during Sunday’s race. I told him if I were in the middle it would be a race for me.

Totally random seems like. Usually within 2-3 days though.

Also, thanks to everyone who was welcoming to Jerry in the paddock. I talked him into buying an E30 and checking out NASA. He showed up in the black w/checked flag vinyl e30 to do HPDE, but was sent home for harness tech failure (?!).

Yes it did. I did not see the issue but I remember it was something to do with a five point harness with no sub belts installed!!Remember the first rule in NASA is know the CCR’s.
No ambulance was a bummer lazer!!
Wow. What an awesome race. Scott that was sure a close battle by the way…I NEED a DVD of the races. So much fun. I am hooked again. Sunday’s qualifying was also a blast. Tony, you did awesome as I expected, glad you are part of the group! I sure put enough tires off track in Sundays race. It is a lesson to never give up like I started to. I am sure glad I didn’t follow through with the optimistic pass that I could have tried with Will on the last lap, Thanks Walter.
A lot of thanks need to be made this weekend. Thank you everyone for a warm welcome me back after my absence. Thank you Walter for the money bags. Thank you Scott for the super fun close battles we had on track and starting to lead us through our first weekend with your new role. I am super glad I ended up in spec e30, as it is the BEST group of racers in the paddock!
The last note is if you have a two race cars (AJ) you better be at Infineon. Also if you missed this race for buying a cheap e30 (Adam) you better be at Infineon. And if you are building your e30, you (Will) better get it done and race in November. Lets get a massive group for the last race and show NASA what spec e30 is all about! Lets set a goal of fifteen or sixteen cars. We have had fifteen cars race already. If Will adds his car and everyone shows up we can have sixteen cars…:woohoo:
I will post some photos tomorrow…
Hey Brenden…I did have an awesome battle on Saturday with you and Tony! Tony, great driving…you’re fast right out-of-the-box…more great competition for our group. Brenden, you did a great job of clean driving…that pass/repass in Turn 11 was a hoot! Keep up the good work!
I’ve been trying to transfer my DV Tape into Windows Moviemaker and I’m having trouble with Moviemaker. However, I can make you a DVD as I have a stand alone DVD burner.
Brenden, since you’re already doing a great job promoting our last event of the season by hounding AJ and Adam, I’ve decided my first offical act for our Infineon race is to appoint you Race Chair for the weekend. We’ll work together on the event and you can help me do the write up for the website.
Would you like to take on the assignment?
Cheers,
Scott Neville

Hey Simon,
We ran Thunderhill CW (with bypass). Team Brimstone Dynasty was Donny Edwards both days. Team Valley Motorwerks 1 was Kevin Borchers Saturday and Carl Chiu Sunday. Team VMWERKS Racing was Walter Ford on Saturday and Will Faules on Sunday.
Thanks for keeping track of all the records btw.

Good stuff Scott. The front bumper cam gives a great view of the field 'til you work your way through.

Adam the camera was mounted on the roof. After losing the bumper cam at Infineon when I hit your rear, roof cam only now.
