Limited Slip Differencial

If a car doesn’t have a LSD from the factory, may we convert to LSD. I know the ratio is 3:73, but do we need to find a LSD diff with matching part numbers from our model year, or can we install any factory OEM 3:73 LSD?

can’t convert a Non LSD into an LSD…any year LSD with the 3.73 ratio is in compliance with the rules.

Sorry, simply meant replace non-LSD diff with LSD diff.
