Let's Skip March RA and Go Straight to Roebling :)

#1

Hey Everyone!

How would the group feel about doing a little Low Country Boil at our Roebling Road Event in April? I know we’ve done this is years past and I’ve already booked the vacation time at work to be able to get down to the track and set up a fantastic spread including fresh shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn with a little homemade pecan pie! How does that sound?

I just need to see if anyone’s interested and I’ll put the plans together. I’m thinking Friday night and I’ll have us ready to eat about 7pm to allow more folks to get to the track.

Also, we need to start talking up this Great Bunny Chase! I’m all in (of course since I’ll get to start first for once) but in all seriousness are we looking for some fun shenanigans at Roebling this year?

Thanks!

Laura Patton Parkhurst

I’m with you. Skip RA, go direct to RR.

I’ll start talking to Jim about the bunny run.

Count Group3racing in.

I’m in. Lawyer-chick and 3 ill-behaved children too. I’ll find a way between now and then to give them the good news.

It goes w/o saying that we can’t have Laura suck up the bill by herself, so everyone’s going to need to pitch in.

Absolutely.

Consider making the event a 3-day weekend. Seat-Time is running a DE on Friday. It’s a lot of track time for the dollar. Afternoons are practically “open track”. www.seat-time.com

Alright Everyone! Time to revive this thread since we’ve completed Road A. Who all is planning on coming down? I can promise it will be a great time! We’re working on the logistics for the Great Bunny Chase and there is some real money to be won (I hear $100 for the winner) and a Low Country Boil on Friday! Please let me know if you plan on attending Friday night so I can make sure there is plenty to go around.

I think I’ve seen the following list so far:

Robert Patton
Laura Parkhurst
Fred Switzer
Scott Gress (& Family for the Boil)
Group3Racing
