KONIG - NASA sponsorship program

#1

Konig has included their Rewind wheel in this program for $70 - you can buy up to 10 of them. That is the only one in 15x7 and it is 15.4 lbs.

Amazing that they have sub 12 lb 15x6.5 wheels for $70. (not spec e30 compliant)

cheers,
bruce

KONIG OFFERS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce a new member benefit from Konig Wheels. Konig is offering a new sponsorship program for NASA members that will allow members to purchase up to 10 wheels from Konig for extremely low prices. Members will have to meet certain sponsorship requirements and only certain Konig wheels are available, but the savings will be significant to NASA drivers looking to equip their rides with some quality wheels.

Nice, but since our first event was this past weekend, I had already ordered (8) of them in Jan. :frowning: Just dropped them a note to see if I can get some type of credit.

#3

That’s a heckuva deal. I had those same wheels on my 240z and loved the look. Will make a good spece30 wheel. If I were starting today and wanted the same wheels across the board I would go with this - $700 for 10 wheels versus the >$500 I paid for my 4 TDs. Maybe that will make those of us with TDs look "old school"

#4

I will need a set soon, so I might get four or more. Too bad they didn’t come up with this in December-January when I ordered my TD’s.

#5

If anyone is looking to get rid of a couple of new TD’s and can deliver them to VIR at the end of the month, I’ll give you what you paid for them.

Does anyone have experience with how long Konig takes to process the paperwork? I need wheels for Road Atlanta this month.

#7

I’ll let you know. I ordered mine on Friday and got an email today saying they were shipping from CA tomorrow.

#8

Do you need rings for those wheels?

Well, bought 8 in Jan. I got a note back within hours saying that they couldn’t retro-credit me. :frowning:

I would give them a call instead.

#11

Do you have a phone number? There isn’t one on the application.

JP,

Give us a full report on these wheels when you can. I found out yesterday that as an HPDE driver I can get them as well.

They are sweet!

I got mine on Friday last week. They come with center caps and centering rings.

Honestly for $340 shipped to the East Coast, I don’t care what they look like!

When I called to check on them, I was told that I got the last set of the current batch. They are waiting on the next batch to arrive. If you have any questions, just call them at the # above. They were very accomadating for me.

JP, Good looking wheel…I wish they hadn’t run out, I could sure use them for RA this weekend.

Where do I get the rings? What size again? Was it 73mm outside, 71mm inside?
