Someone was telling me, Rob I think, that one of the pieces on the Kmac camber plate goes on top of the strut cap…we have them all under on the OE 800 car and it sits high, anyone else running Kmac’s??

I have them on my e30 M3 and the silver top plate is definitely on top of the strut tower. I have a one page instruction sheet (pdf file) for them but it isn’t too specific on this point. Give me your email if you’d like me to send a copy.

Carter has them on his car. Maybe he will chime in. I had them on my e36 M3 and the top mounting plate was on the top of the strut housing, visable from the engine compartment. If I recall the installation instructions were useless, sort of like IE plates.

Ken is correct. The plate goes on top of the strut tower. And while mine have worked just fine for several years, I keep an eye on the urethane bushings. I’ve heard that they can come loose.
