june 30th Infineon

Allright guys who is in for the 30th?
I missed the last event and have to say it hurt.
I will be attending as allways with Donny Edwards and hopefully the gang from Valley Motorwerks.
AJ you in?
Russo are you down?
We have some new things to talk about on the Norcal Spece30 front and I am exited as ever to attend.
I will be arriving as early as possible this time I promise in order to save a huge space in the paddock.
We all have a large number of people interested in our cars at every event and it is becoming ever more important that we show our mutual support as a group for all to see.
Please let me know if you will be in attendance so preparations can be made.

Thanks and see you there.

Yo, I am there. Can’t wait to try out my new bushings and sway bar!

Well Ryan is out due to his window needing replacing. Walter and co are in and I just talked to Donny and he is all exited about his recent sticker job. I emailed Igor and haven’t heard back from him whether he is still coming out or not. I am going to make up some temporary Spece30 hand outs for the event since the permnament one is still in review amongst the directors.

Good luck all and see you there.

Walter is heading up on friday night so I will deliver cones for paddock space on thursday afternoon to his shop.

This time we welcome all e30’s in one space and I will try to let every one know where we plan to meet up. The area we allways try to secure is next to the instructors since this is the area where the most students congregate.

Hi guys,
don’t wait up for me ): I might or might not show up still don’t know. My wife is pregnant with our second child  so there are some preparations to do (we found out recently and that’s mostly why I have been MIA).

Steve,
congrats on being NorCal SpecE30 director !

Regards,
Igor

Igor, congratulations, now you have to buy 2 shifter karts!

We’ll be there on Friday so we’ll set aside a large area for ALL spec E30’s.

We are having a 10x20 easy-up cover made up with SpecE30 and VMWERKS graphics on it. Donny donated the frame to the cause. We will also begin taking extra parts etc to the events to support anyone in an E30 that may need them.

Eric’s car should be ready by Wednesday, We are done with Ryan’s vehicle and a windshield should not be a big deal! There is a new driver that will be debuting his E30 at the HPDE, we will be slowly converting his street car to SpecE30 standards over the next few months.

It is really exciting to see SpecE30 take off out there. I can remember 3+ years ago, the November race had 2 of us and it was common to only have 5-7 racers.

Keep up the great work and someone build some rentals so the east coasters can come out to play!

I believe there are some cars to rent…Am I mistaken? I cannot wait to start racing, Hopefully early next year…

We should have a customer rental car by the end of the year. I have already made the purchase, I just need to find the time to pick it up…

That sounds great! I should have more time (and money) to fly to CA next year. What is the closest major airport to Infineon (and Mazda too!)?

it would be San Francisco airport (SFO) and/or Oakland (OAK?).

Sears Point (Infineon) on PS2 is pretty close to real thing, although I think "S-es" are more intense/fun in reality and T-11 is actually easier to set-up ‘live’ then in game due to ability to see through pass side window.
