just fyi
I’ve started shopping for bits and pieces and asked the folks at Motor-Force Engineering about the advantages of their new camber plates. Some good points, but they don’t have a spring perch for Bilstein Sports so they are a non-starter.

[quote]Bruce,
Thank you for contacting Motor-Force!
The biggest advantages to using Motor-Force camber plates are:
Low stack height for increased suspension travel ( http://www.motor-force.com/stackup.html )
Oversized bearings to handle the increased rigors of street and track driving (http://www.motor-force.com/sphericalbearing.html )
Ease of installation and adjustment (http://www.motor-force.com/camberplate_faq.html )
In order to use our plates you would need the camber plate and the correct spring perch.
For stock style springs, we only offer spring perch fitments for stock-styled strut shafts. This would cover Koni, Bilstein touring, Sachs, KW and many others. We do not offer a stock style spring perch for the inverted mono-tub Bilstein struts (aka: Sport or Yellows). For coil-over setups, we offer 2.5 and 60mm spring perches for all applications.
On the E30 chassis, using a stock-style spring / perch limits the amount of camber & caster you can run do to space constraints in the strut tower. Moving to a 2.5 or 60mm coil-over setup allows for full range of adjustment with more than -3.5* of camber attainable and approximately +6* of caster.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Regards,
John.
