“Controlled” testing almost yielded a serious wreck around 4:23. Glad no one was hurt.

Sunday’s Race

Before I fry a wire under the dash two laps in.

Both videos were uploaded in HD, so you may want to start it then come back after it gets ahead downloading.

Edit: OK Shawn I will remind everyone- Turn the volume down or off. Although my camera has a good Picture the mic is lousy and there is nothing I can do about it. The NEW Contour HD has a separate mic input which I would like to try.

They were trying to create more separation with us and the Miatas. Not Spec E30s choice, but we are happy to cooperate with the Powers in the Tower. I love standing starts, even when I blew it, they are still fun to talk about. Flyin’ starts are like luke warm milk.

kevin,
Bryan has a shot of his go pro right above the exhaust in the back of the car that sounds amazing! Also i found that yes the contour can be modified to accept an external mic, awesome the news ones come with it, so if you go that route, you should place the mic in the back of the car next to the tail light and the sound quality will be awesome!!!

#47

Deejay,
How do you modify the the Contour Mic? I know the new one has a external mic plug, but how do I modify mine?

#48

the guys at IOport will do it for about 20 bucks according to Jason. However if your to try it yourself i would imagine you just take a mic and solder it to the two spots that the stock mic is soldered too
